Delete Your Account

You can delete your Mooch account and all of your data at any time, directly in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no waiting period and no undo.

Delete your account in the app

Open Mooch and make sure you're signed in.
Tap the menu button in the top-left corner.
Tap Your Profile.
Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are erased right away.

If you're asked to sign in again: that's a security step. Mooch requires a recent sign-in before deleting an account, so nobody else can delete yours from a device you left logged in. Sign in with your phone number and try again.

If you can't get into the app

Lost your phone, changed your number, or already uninstalled Mooch? Email info@moochapp.com with the subject "Delete my Mooch account" and include the phone number you signed up with.

We'll verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, and confirm by email when it's done.

What gets deleted

Your photos	Your profile picture and every photo you uploaded for an item are deleted from storage.

Invitations you sent	Deleted, including the phone numbers of people you invited.
Your login	Your sign-in credentials are removed. Your phone number no longer has an account.

Name, phone number, email address and street address are deleted.

Your photos

Your profile picture and every photo you uploaded for an item are deleted from storage.

Your items

Every item you listed is deleted, including anything currently out on loan.

Your friend connections

Removed from your account and from the friends list of everyone you were connected to. You stop appearing in anyone's app.

Invitations you sent

Deleted, including the phone numbers of people you invited.

Your login

Your sign-in credentials are removed. Your phone number no longer has an account.

What is kept, and for how long

Mooch does not sell your data or share it with advertisers, so there is nothing to recall from a third party.

Deleting the app isn't the same thing

Removing Mooch from your phone stops the app running, but your account and data stay on our servers. Use the steps above to delete them.
